Presently, we are seeking candidates for the position of:

COMMISSIONING ENGINEER

to work in an international environment at sites located world-wide in start-up and commissioning of selected systems

Scope of work:

  • commissioning of Electrical & Automation systems on sea going vessels
  • on-the-spot troubleshooting of existing control systems
  • attending sea trials
  • providing technical and organization support to customers
  • providing training for maintenance and operation staff
  • making improvements to and offering advice about operation procedures
  • investigating problems, diagnosing and repairing faults
  • testing and commissioning activities in line with the specific site requirements; completing all test and commissioning documentation.

Candidates should present:

  • three or more years of experience in commissioning, maintenance of modern control and instrumentation or electrical systems in maritime and/or industrial installations,
  • readiness to travel world-wide on 1 – 4 weeks assignments, up to 6 – 7 months/year
  • demonstrable experience in controls systems design and application
  • relevant technical expertise and experience in commissioning procedures (preferred in the maritime sector)
  • good communication and interpersonal skills,
  • attitude aiming at achieving goals, be self-driven and result oriented,
  • ability to work both as a team player and individually,
  • entrepreneurial and organization skills

Other skills & qualifications:

  • Technical University / Maritime Academy degree in automation and/or electrical systems,
  • fairly good command of English in speaking and writing, general and technical,
